REFUND & RETURN POLICY — Root & Ripe

Effective Date: June 2026

At Root & Ripe, we take immense pride in the quality of every pack we ship. Our vacuum-fried fruit chips are made with 100% real ingredients and packed with care. If something isn't right, we want to make it right.


Our Quality Promise

Every order is quality-checked before dispatch. However, if you receive a product that is:

  • Damaged, crushed, or tampered with on arrival
  • Past its best-before date at the time of delivery
  • Incorrect (wrong product or flavour sent)

We will offer a full replacement or store credit — no questions asked.


How to Raise a Concern

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@rootandripe.com with:

  1. Your order number
  2. A clear photo of the product and packaging
  3. A brief description of the issue

We will respond within 2 business days.


What We Cannot Accept Returns For

As a food product, we are unable to accept physical returns of opened or consumed products due to hygiene and safety regulations under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (FSSAI).

We also do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Incorrect address provided at checkout
  • Delays caused by courier partners beyond our control

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placement by emailing hello@rootandripe.com. Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible.


Refund Processing

Approved refunds (if applicable) will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
